In a radio interview following the vindication of Jovan Jackson last month of all medical marijuana related charges, the San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis calls on the California legislature for further guidance on the subject.

On Tuesday, January 12th the legislature answered the rogue DA’s question.  However it is clear by the actions of the prosecutors office that the prohibitionist is listening to only herself. Read the rest of this entry »

The Cultural Wars Continue in San Diego

By: Rocky Neptun

San Diego’s District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis struts onto the stage, her swagger, her measured pace, her menacing stare in front of the cameras reminds me of the persona John Wayne created on his way to becoming an American icon. I once overheard him tell my aunt at breakfast that Read the rest of this entry »

The Cultural Wars Continue in San Diego

The Cultural Wars Continue in San Diego

By: Rocky Neptun

In his brief 28 years, Eugene Davidovich has followed all the rules, adhered to the law and lived an exemplary life. Yet, today, he stands broken, alone, homeless, persecuted and in daily pain. Clean-cut, honest spoken, go-getting; he was a child of the American dream, going from good son to impressive student to serving his country in the military. Afterward there came a fine loving marriage, a young son and a promising career in the computer programming field. Read the rest of this entry »
