This weekend, the San Diego Chapter of Americans for Safe Access helped in hosted the National Activist Boot Camp. The San Diego training was held at the KNB Wine Cellars on Saturday and Sunday and was hosted by Vey Linville and Eugene Davidovich while at the same time, similar trainings were being held at over a dozen other cities throughout the nation. Every American president until the 1930’s used medical marijuana and according to Morey Amsterdam and Eddie Gordon, close friends of John F. Kennedy, who used cannabis for his back pain, he was going to legalize it during his second term.

ASA Advocates Take Possession of Marijuana Plants from San Diego County Sheriff

San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis and her ‘fierce fight’ against medical marijuana patients suffered another devastating defeat this week. Advocates from the local chapter of Americans for Safe Access (SDASA), the nation’s largest advocacy group promoting safe and legal access to cannabis for therapeutic use and research, successfully obtained an order from the courts for the release of five large impounded medical cannabis plants.
