What’s a de facto Ban?

In District Attorney on October 3, 2010 at 12:01 am
In short, its the good ol’ fashioned run-a-round.

A de facto ban on medical marijuana is a city municipality, it’s mayor and city council refusing to allow the land use issue as an agenda item during a regular city council meeting.  Instead, the city will give applicants and patients the run-a-round when asked about safe access to medical marijuana within the city limits.

De facto bans can be changed to safe access.  Select your city below and then…

  1. Contact your elected officials. (Help)
  2. Communicate with other local patients.
  3. Attend the local meetings.
  4. Keep up the local fight.
  5. Don’t stop until your rights are respected and you have safe access to medical marijuana in your city.
